About Wilkerson

The extensive Wilkerson catalogue includes regulators, filters, air dryers, lubricators and filter elements. Wilkerson non-rising air regulators are suitable for services requiring uniform pressure and variable flow rates. These Wilkerson regulators, with an adjusting knob, are capable of being monitored remotely with the help of small pilot regulators. They feature brass / zinc alloy construction to ensure corrosion resistance and deliver airflow rates up to 100 cfm. Wilkerson pressure regulators (R28 Series) decrease the air line pressure to required levels between 0.2 and 17.2 bar. These Wilkerson regulators have a balanced valve design & a spring-loaded diaphragm that can facilitate reverse flow as well. Wilkerson compressed air filters are designed to protect filtration equipment by removing dust, oil and moisture. These compact Wilkerson filters feature a standard filtration mechanism having a 5-micron rating, a 1/2 inch NPT / BSPP-G over-port for effective sealing and quick-disconnect bowls for preventing accidental disconnection. The polycarbonate bowls on these Wilkerson filters have an integrated guard / metallic wire with a sight gauge for ensuring durability. They can withstand temperatures & pressures up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit & 250 psi, respectively. Choose from a wide range of these Wilkerson products, along with pneumatically operated drain valves and filter regulator lubricators, on Raptor Supplies.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does an airflow regulator work?

Airflow regulators have a spring-actuated valve which is directly regulated by a diaphragm assembly. Pressure or energy from the flowing medium activates the diaphragm, and the increasing downstream pressure falls on the diaphragm, thereby closing the valve plug by compressing the spring.

What is the function of the auto drain in Wilkerson pneumatic separator condensers?

Wilkerson pneumatic separator condensers have an auto drain for automatically removing dirt and condensate.

What is an FRL regulator?

An FRL unit combines a filter, regulator and lubricator into a single component for keeping air compressor systems in excellent working condition.

When should I use an AtoMist lubricator instead of an EconOmist Lubricator?

AtoMist lubricators send finer oil aerosol particles downstream, than EconOmist lubricators. These oil particles remain suspended in the airstream for a longer duration than the larger EconOmist droplets.

When should I change my coalescing filter?

Usually, coalescing filters are changed when the change-out pressure varies from 8 to 10 PSI.

What are some safety instructions to remember while installing Wilkerson air regulators?

  • These Wilkerson air regulators should be installed very close to the point of use.
  • A particulate filter should be installed on the inlet side of a Wilkerson air regulator for decreasing maintenance requirements.
  • These regulators have a flow arrow to indicate the direction of flow.
  • Users should use pressure gauges in the auxiliary ports, else block the unused port using pipe plugs.
  • Attachments like reducing bushings & couplings should not be installed with this product. They restrict air flow and reduce performance.
