Pneumatic clamps are ideal for applying pressure on workpieces for repetitive clamping applications by using air actuated cylinders. Destaco pneumatic toggle clamps are suitable for fixturing, testing, assembling & welding operations in automotive and food & packaging industries. Destaco 802 Series pneumatic hold down clamps are pneumatic versions of 202-U manual clamps. They are sensor ready for detecting open & closed positions of the clamp and have inbuilt flow restriction feature for smooth flow, eliminating external flow control requirements. Destaco 802-U-LC is used as a substitute to replace worn out assembly of Destaco 802-U clamp. It is operated by attaching with a pneumatic cylinder that utilises compressed air for moving the clamp bar & holding the workpieces. The double acting pneumatic cylinder has a 1/8 NPT or G-1/8 port for connecting to a pneumatic power source. This clamp assembly is equipped with a U bar for accommodating an adjustable spindle assembly to hold down workpieces. It is completely self contained & requires only a pressure source for user safety & safe operation. This clamp assembly has threaded mounting holes on its base for quick & easy installation on flat, horizontal surfaces. It offers a maximum holding capacity of 200 lb. Raptor Supplies also offers this clamp in a variant having a high operating temperature.

Destaco 802-U-LC replacement clamp assembly is ideally used in applications, such as fixturing, testing, welding and assembly in automotive and food & packaging industries.
Destaco also offers a wide range of light & medium duty pneumatic clamps in a range of configurations, styles and materials (aluminium / steel).
Pneumatic toggle clamps feature the same basic design and operation as manual hold-down or straight-line toggle clamps, but are operated pneumatically. They are completely self-contained and require only a pressure source hook-up.
A coupling grease, such as Mobil XTC should be used when dealing with Destaco mechanical clamps, while the Magnalube G grease is great for use with pneumatic cylinder seals.
The holding capacity or holding force represents the capability of a clamp to hold down mechanical equipment or sheet metal while assembling automotive parts or during manufacturing processes.
Clamping force or exerting force refers to the actual force that the clamp exerts onto the workpiece for holding it. The holding force or capacity provides a measure of the ideal strength of the clamp that is measured during the manufacturing process. The clamping force is generally lesser than the holding capacity, depending upon several factors, such as the position of the attached spindle in the clamping bar and the opposing force applied on the clamp.
Yes, Destaco carbon steel clamps are zinc plated to withstand & minimise wear & tear due to harsh industrial environments. Destaco also supplies stainless steel clamps for applications requiring clamping in outdoor conditions.
Destaco can supply customised versions of clamps upon request. The customisations can range from a different colour of handles to the removal of Destaco logo from the clamps.
