Grinder Pumps

Dayton grinder pumps are used for draining sewage, wastewater or water from septic tanks. These pumps feature ball bearings for low rotational friction and housing made of cast iron / stainless steel for corrosion resistance. They provide speeds up to 3450 rpm and deliver a maximum flow rate of 99 gpm at 10 ft of head. These pumps are capable of withstanding liquid temperatures up to 160 degrees F and are available in 1 & 3 phase configurations.

Working Mechanism

  • Before operating the pumps, ensure that the voltage and phase information printed on the pump matches the supply.
  • Make sure the motor is rotating freely.
  • On startup, before connecting the power, rotate the impeller with your hand to ensure that there is no leakage.
