Relays are electromechanical devices used to control the flow of electrical current in a circuit. They act as switches operated by an electrical signal rather than manual action. These units consist of a coil, an armature and one or more sets of contacts. Relays are commonly used in automation systems, control panels and automotive electronics. They provide electrical isolation, allow low-power control signals to switch high-power loads and enhance safety & protection in electrical systems.
