Working Mechanism

  • Turn On the 01A Series meter by either starting fuel flow or pressing the Display button.
  • The meter should display the last batch or cumulative total.
  • Users can hold the display button for three seconds for resetting the batch total back to zero.
  • After one minute of measuring the fuel flow, the meter automatically turns Off to conserve power.

  • GPI 01A Series digital fuel meters are battery-powered using two AAA batteries and have a 4-digit liquid crystal display.
  • They can display both batch & cumulative totals.
  • The batch total reading is resettable whereas the cumulative totals reset at 9999 reading.
  • These devices have an automatic On / Off mechanism for saving battery life and their magnetic sensor has an accuracy of +/- 5%.

Can we replace the batteries in GPI 01A Series digital fuel meters?

  • Users can easily replace the batteries in these meters. However, users should remember that when batteries lose power or are removed, the batch & cumulative total readings reset back to zero. But the factory calibration settings are retained.
How to install these GPI 01A Series digital fuel meters?

  • Remove the nozzle from the hose and wrap the hoses with thread tape without intruding on the flow path.
  • Attach a hose with the selected meter's outlet port having an arrow pointed in the direction of flow.
  • Fix the nozzle to the meter's other end. Use an enclosed 3/4-inch fitting if required. Tighten the connections using a wrench.
  • Users can install in-line in both horizontal or vertical orientation.
  • However, care must be taken that the line is full without any air for accuracy.
