Description

Direct drive blower motors are ideal for driving fan blades & wheels of the blower and for repair & maintenance of damaged or worn-out HVAC motors. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of these direct drive blower motors from brands like Marathon Motors, Dayton, Baldor, Century and Genteq. These blower motors feature direct mounting of fan blades & blower wheels on the motor shaft to reduce friction and produce less vibration & noise. Dayton open air-over permanent split capacitor motors are ideal for use with Dayton ventilators and can run without overheating for long durations. Open dripproof, 3-phase Dayton motors provide high starting torque and are designed to allow good airflow and resist the entry of dripping water. Totally enclosed air-over shaded pole Century motors feature a dust-tight design to restrict the entry of airborne particles, dust and moisture inside the enclosure and are mounted within the fan airflow wall to remain cool. These Century motors can be operated up to an ambient temperature of 70 degrees C.
