Drum Tumblers

Drum tumblers provide vigorous & homogenous corner-over-corner mixing of ingredients like granules, coarse pellets, powders, thick liquids & wet grains. Morse drum tumblers are ideal for tumbling a steel, plastic or fibre drum at speeds ranging from 2 to 20 RPM. These drum tumblers ensure user safety by reducing the risk of contamination and reducing worker exposure to hazardous components.
Morse 309 Series universal drum tumblers are ideal for tumbling steel, plastic or fibre drums at 14 RPM speed and are powered by an explosion-proof, 1 HP, single-phase electric motor operating at 230 / 400V, 50 Hz. They are rated for Class I Group D and Class II Groups F & G for user safety. These universal tumblers are capable of tilting mixed ingredients weighing up to 400 lb & 800 lb for half drum & full drum, respectively. They come equipped with a web strap, two top clamps & a ratchet around the drum for securing the drum in the holder.

Drum tumblers are used in the food & chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical food & chemical industries to rotate a steel, plastic or fibre drum corner-over-corner for vigorous mixing of drum contents like granules, powders, thick liquids, coarse pellets or wet grains.

Drum tumblers provide a greater shaking motion compared to simply rolling a drum. They facilitate the free movement of contents from one end of the drum to the other during agitation. Unlike drum rollers, drum tumblers are large, stationary machines. These drum tumblers come in two styles, ensuring thorough mixing of contents to put valuable ingredients back into the suspension within the drum. Tilt-to-load drum tumblers feature corner-over-corner tumbling action achieved via an ergonomic power-lift for drum rotation, while end-over-end drum tumblers hold the drum at the centre and spin the drum end over end.
