Description

Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of high-quality drum deheaders from brands like Wesco, Vestil and Basco. These deheaders are used for removing tight lid covers / seals of steel drums of any gauge and size in food, chemical, pharmaceutical and packaging industries. Featuring a replaceable sharp-edged blade and a sturdy yet comfortable plastic hand grip, drum deheader tools are preferred over blowtorches while dealing with drums containing flammable / delicate objects as they reduce the risk of starting a fire and permit drum recycling. For different working conditions, these drum deheaders are offered in a wide variety of blade materials, handles, heights and lengths.

Working Mechanism

  • First, fix the unit on the drum and complete all the required preparatory steps.
  • Position the blade against the drum rim.
  • Use the adjustment knob to adjust the blade's cutting force & angle.
  • In manual models, press the handle to its full for cutting the drum head to the blade's full length.
  • Raise the unit's handle to slide the unit forward and cut the drum head fully.
  • In electrical and automatic drum deheaders, users just have to press a button to start the operation after adjusting the cutting depth & positioning the cutter wheel.
