Air chain hoists are designed to lift and move heavy loads (up to 12000 lb) safely in harsh working environments. These air powered hoists offer electricity-free operation to ensure no arcing hazards occur, which may cause an explosion. Raptor Supplies sells air chain hoists from brands like Dayton, Ingersoll-Rand, Vestil and Harrington. ARO air hoists from Ingersoll Rand are simple & rugged in design and meet ASME B30.16 specifications. These air hoists feature a powerful, self-cooling rotary motor to provide faster lift speeds with low air consumption, even at high temperatures. They come equipped with a brake control that can be easily adjusted to meet specific load ranges. Harrington offers AH Mini Cat air hoists in a phenomenally low headroom design that allows use in many construction, assembly line and workstation applications. These air powered hoists feature vane motor design to permit very fine feathering control so that the speed does not affect the stress on the control mechanism.
