Description

Defrost thermostats are bi-metallic switches used for controlling the temperature rise in a freezer compartment during a defrost cycle. Raptor Supplies offers a range of Defrost thermostat from brands like Honeywell and Supco. These defrost thermostats works separate to refrigeration systems and are responsible for stopping frost forming on evaporators. They are also provided with an infrared sensor which measures frost built up and activate the heating element after it reaches a certain thickness.
