Eyebolts are ideal for vertical lifting applications and tying ropes & cables by firmly attaching them to a solid structure and anchoring / feeding the ropes / cables through the bolt's protruding loop (eye). Raptor Supplies offers a broad range of eyebolts from brands like Chicago Hardware, Grainger, Ken Forging, Fabory, and more. Heavy-duty eyebolts are used in rigging for the lifting of heavy loads, whereas smaller eyebolts are used for tensioning wires and similar non-load-bearing operations. These eyebolts are available in both Metric and Imperial designs.
Can be used for maximum angular lifting of 45 degrees, but with reduced capacity.
Connected to a stud or bolt for forming an eyebolt.
Used for vertical lifting applications or routing wires & cables.
Mounted on threaded holes or mounting bolts for routing materials through the pivot ring.
Offers structural rigidity, strength, hardness & durability
Provides electrical conductivity & has non-magnetic nature; less strength than stainless steel
Lightweight & cheaper to use than other materials
Has corrosion-resistant properties and moderate structural rigidity
Has greater strength-to-weight ratio and rigidity at the same thickness as plastic
Done on steel to provide impact resistance; lesser corrosion resistance than stainless steel.
Greater thermal & wear protection than powder coating
Mild-to-high corrosion resistance in wet environments.
Provides better corrosion resistance than zinc plating, owing to thick coating
Light-to-medium corrosion resistance in dry environments; minimises light reflection
Have shoulders on the unthreaded area to withstand more side force than fully threaded rod ends.
Can be welded or threaded to match application requirements. Also called blank eyebolts.
Have a fully threaded shank for tight fitting.
Provide secure routing or lifting of loads.
Combine the benefits of open & closed eyes for easy & secure routing applications.
Provide easy routing.
ASTM International (previously the American Society for Testing and Materials) provides international industry standards & test methods for raw form materials or finished products to meet required material quality standards.
DIN (German Institute for Standardisation) certified products meet dimensional & material requirements for metric industrial products.
A standard eyebolt features a single forged ring on the top of the shank, whereas a ringbolt is equipped with an extra ring around the first ring. Eyebolts can only accommodate forces that are vertically above or below, while ringbolts can handle angled forces as well.
