Their simple design prevents dirt accumulation around the valves & in the cracks, to prevent contamination of fuel. These FAA & PMA valves feature a Viton O-ring seal placed on the stem, to provide a leakproof seal against a flat seat on the body. Selected fuel drain valves have a patented feature which locks the valve in Open position for conducting a pre-flight check against contamination and water easily.
