Hammond check valves are used to allow the flow of liquids in one direction and automatically prevent backflow when the fluid in the line reverses its direction. These dual-FNPT / solder connection type valves are self automated and compatible with both horizontal / vertical mounting. The ASTM-compliant, brass-constructed valves can withstand a maximum water pressure of 200 psi and have flow rates ranging from 10 to 131 gpm.
